A Nightmare on Wrestle Street: VanGore vs Tristan Mounts - Weekend Wrestling

Image
Ever since his debut against Mo Mason, Tristan has been no stranger to trouble at Weekend Wrestling. He's no jobber, but has taken a trip down the road to Big Heel City several times. In Weekend's latest release, we find Tristan trapped in a waking nightmare where the absolute beast of a man, VanGore, rules this liminal space. VanGore vs Tristan Mounts - WeekendWrestling I'd imagine having to patrol the niche realm of the wrestling twilight dream world could get a little boring. Thankfully for VanGore, Tristan's unconscious mind wandered a bit too off course and he's more than willing to drag him straight to an inevitable wrestling hell. This nightmare though...it's all too real for Tristan. "Where am I? Who are you?!" We know those answers but unfortunately for Tristan, he may never find them out. As the nightmare kicks into full gear, VanGore rips Tristan's clothes off and tosses them into the aether, never to be seen again. The hellish heel st

Silas vs Tristan - Thunders Arena

Silas vs Tristan - Custom Video Series #166 - Thunders Arena So, I can say without a doubt that you will be seeing a lot of Silas on my blog this year. The cocky and confident heartthrob first caught my attention at the end of last month in his match on Thunders against Chris Rockway (you can read that review here ) Comparing him to other wrestlers in the present and recent past, Silas has quickly risen to the top tier of my favorites in a similar fashion that guys like Ty Shadow, Drew Harper, Blayne, and Dash Decker have. I'm not sure why he never caught my attention before a few months ago on Thunders or elsewhere, but better late than never. Silas rolls up on Tristan while he's in the middle of studying, surprised to see the underground wrestling legend already fully recovered from their last match after being "passed out pretty much the entire fight." Tristan insists the match never happened and is all part of a fantasy Silas has. Silas won't lay off and it&

Gabe Steel vs Elite Eliot - Weekend Wrestling

Image
Truth be told, I never got into the superhero sub-kink on the wrestling kink tree. You would assume it goes hand in hand with singlets and gear, right? I did have a big crush on Gambit when I was younger, but that's about as far as it went for me 😋 Gabe Steel vs Elite Eliot - WeekendWrestling Believe it or not, this is my first review of an Elite Eliot match even though I've watched plenty. Almost all of them are definitely worthy of a post here. I've shared my thoughts about a couple of Gabe's matches already. I also had the privilege of meeting him twice in Chicago during Market Days and was able to wrestle him one of those times. He's vicious in all the right ways on the mat. I'm excited to see these two go at it! Several of the preview pics were more than enough to get me to check this match out, and this one in particular sold me: WHEW Anyways... We see Eliot on the phone with a friend who (I'm assuming) is heading to the venue to pick him up post-ma

Tedros vs Roger Atlas - Weekend Wrestling

Image
Editors note: This is Weekend Wrestling's match from last Saturday. Later today they will be releasing Johnny Greco vs Diego Maya, and I'm just as excited about that match. I'll get to it soon for sure. Already a fan of the studly slab of beef (and outstanding wrestler) that is Roger Atlas, I knew I would have to check out this match from Weekend Wrestling when I saw via their Twitter account he would be taking on hot debuting hunk Tedros. I had a feeling I would love this one before it was even released. In the match description it says "Tedros, the self-proclaimed "Friendliest Guy at Weekend Wrestling." Well, that's a 100% heel smirk Tedros has painted across his face if you ask me...so maybe we'll come to find out he's the friendliest heel at Weekend. Let's see if I'm correct. I'll even keep score. Tedros vs Roger Atlas - Weekend Wrestling   Things start off friendly enough. Tedros gets his handshake, but Roger doesn't seem all
