Zack Reno vs Tyson The Hammer - UCW #679 Continuing my "Greatest Hits" series, next up we have one of the many matches between Zack Reno and Tyson during their lengthy rivalry at UCW (match 679 in this case.) I haven't watched all of them, but out of the matches I've seen between the two, this one is my favorite.  I really can't think of any better or consistent rivalries than the bad blood between Zack and Tyson that the now defunct UCW put on display for us. The in-ring chemistry between the two is undeniable, most notably in their ball-busting themed match which if I remember reading correctly, was one of UCW's highest selling matches at the time. I'm sure establishing a long-lasting competition between 2 underground guys can be difficult to arrange due to scheduling alone, so I'm not surprised it's so infrequently attempted. VanGore vs Zach Reno - Weekend Wrestling When I saw this match preview the week of it's release, I knew I was going to have to check it out and share my thoughts about it here before I even watched it. Any match with the 7ft 300lb beast of a man VanGore will instantly get my attention. Seeing he was up against Zach Reno, an underground favorite with a bit of a heel streak of his own over the years, sealed the deal for me. I swear he just gets hotter and hotter as the years go by.   When he's done flexing, Zach sees VanGore in the opposite corner of the ring. Knowing he may not stand a chance being in such a mismatch, he offers to pay the giant an undisclosed amount of money and also suggests a partnership. "We'd be unstoppable!" They very well may be...but ...

  Just the idea of these two meeting in the ring screams squash match. Johnny is billed at 5'6 150lbs and Atlas at 5'9 220lbs. A mismatch for certain. Someone came up with this scenario as a custom match at Weekend Wrestling and I am about to watch this fan scripted concept come to life. This isn't Roger's underground debut but it is his WW debut. He had an incredible match with Johnny Grecco at Muscleboy. I didn't review that one, but I loved it and definitely suggest checking it out. He has helped Roger find his way to the ring but needs just one more thing from Zach.   Drew Harper vs Zach Reno - Weekend Wrestling You all know I'm a huge Zach (Zack) Reno fan by now. So when the underground wrestling world decided to drop 4 new Zach matches over the course of a few days I knew I would eventually have to watch them all. Good week for it as well with temps forecast to be in the mid to upper 90's for another 5 days. I will gladly sit in the a/c and watch wrestling! So, I opted to watch Zach go at it with beefy all-american handsome stud next door Drew Harper. UCW keeps making me a fan of kinks I never thought I would be into. Ball Bust: Tyson vs Zack Reno - UCW A friend of mine alerted me to their newest release, another match between my 2 UCW favorites (and 2 of my all time favorites tbh) Tyson and Zack Reno! It's a "shut up and take my money" moment for sure lol. This is definitely a custom that has been released for all to purchase, and I'm eternally grateful. It's a ball busting themed match, which is something I could just never really get into, but again, Zack and Tyson. There's not a lot of wrestling here, but there is a total and utter dominance of Zack's package by Tyson. It's so fucking hot. Like...I could have easily shot within the first few minutes of the match. That doesn't happen too often 😆 Zack is rock hard and LEAKING 5 minutes into the match....holy shit. I really can't put what I'm witnessing into words. Zack is absolutely loving every minute of this. ...

Thankfully, a lot of our favorite homoerotic wrestling companies shoot multiple matches in one session, so we aren't short on getting to see new bouts during the shutdown. It seems the time will come relatively soon when all can resume filming. With a shortened work schedule and being stuck inside, I've had plenty of time to daydream up some hot matches I'd love to see in our post-shutdown world. Here's a few of them. Joey Nux vs Drew Harper Match Type: Jobber vs Heel - Total defeat Joey has quickly become my favorite heel at Wrestler4Hire and who better than him to dish out a hot and methodical beat down of frat boy hunk Drew Harper. It wouldn't be easy for Joey either, which makes it all the more entertaining for the fans. Joey would have to knockout out Drew in torture racks, sleeper/chokes, camels, full nelsons...along with plenty of abuse to those abs and package. Something for everyone! I've mused more than once about what a favorite of mine Zach(k) Reno has become. I also picked him as my #1 fighter in my 2019 review post. A true underground talent without question. Heel, jobber, or a solid back and forth, he can do it all and do it well. He also can pull off both a hairy or smooth body (and so can Brendan!) Needless to say I was immediately sold when I had a post come across my Twitter feed that he was going to be double teamed by Brendan Byers and Cole Cassidy in Weekend Wrestling's next release. Brendan Byers & Cole Cassidy vs Zach Reno - Weekend Wrestling Cole brings in Brendan who, in handcuffs, seems totally under Cole's control. The two enter the ring where Zach is already waiting. Cole brandishes a taser. "You know what happens, right?" he says, as he turns the taser on briefly, which seems to activate Brendan and causes Zach a bit of a fright as he backs up into his corner.
