  Alex Garcia vs Nick Karras - 88 Wrestling So, I picked up this match last week and initially I wasn't sure if I was going to review it or not. I gave it another watch a few days ago, and decided that I would. This is Alex's debut match with 88 and Nick's 4th released bout with the company.  I haven't been able to check out Nick's other matches, although I have been tempted more than once. Anyways, this was my first time seeing the two in action. I have a lot of thoughts about this match, but I will keep it light. Although a bit sloppy (for lack of a better term) at times, this was a fun battle to watch. Not as intense as I had hoped, but the pace is consistent. According to the 88 website, Alex has a strong background in amateur wrestling and jiu-jitsu, but its clear he's just starting to get his feel for the pro style scene.   Attention ab bashing fans! You'll love this match from 88Wrestling between Ethan and Drew! This is 88's second most recent release that came out a few weeks ago. I had hoped to get this up much sooner, but better late than never. Drew has a size advantage but Ethan is well trained in multiple combat sports and has taken on opponents of all sizes and skill. Will it give him the upper hand against underground wrestling's resident powerhouse frat boy? Extreme Knockout: Ethan Andrews vs Drew Harper - 88Wrestling Both guys look confident and ready to rumble as Round 1 begins. The two meet in the middle of the ring for a handshake, but Drew instead attacks, flipping Ethan down to the ring apron. A grappling contest begins and it's bad news for Drew. Bringing the fight down to the mats is the last thing you'd want to do with a guy like Ethan. Whoops. I still have plenty of optimism for Drew's chances in this match.   Jett Bentley takes on fellow muscle stud Chase Lundquist in the latest release from 88Wrestling. The pair have faced each other before, three times. I haven't seen any of those, but I may have to check them out. I typically don't like to post spoilers, but the 88 website is open about it so I will be as well. In all their previous encounters, Jett has been on the losing end. So lets all head down to "Flex City" and see if he can get some revenge. With Spring in full swing and most restrictions lifted or soon to be lifted, I've been out and about a lot going places and spending time with my friends. It's great to see them in real life and not as a video box on my Discord server while we game lol. My birthday was last week and I decided to spend the weekend before it in Boston. I had a GREAT time! So nice to feel comfortable traveling again! While I've downloaded a handful of great matches over the last month, I'm mostly out of the loop when it comes to underground wrestling. With the covid lockdowns and restrictions over the past year, I was able to dedicate as much of my free time as I wanted to checking out matches, blogging, coming up with new ideas for KSW, and chatting with other fans. Now I find myself going through a burnout. I don't even really pay attention to my MF account and I know I have messages that have been sitting in my inbox fo...

Thankfully, a lot of our favorite homoerotic wrestling companies shoot multiple matches in one session, so we aren't short on getting to see new bouts during the shutdown. It seems the time will come relatively soon when all can resume filming. With a shortened work schedule and being stuck inside, I've had plenty of time to daydream up some hot matches I'd love to see in our post-shutdown world. Here's a few of them. Joey Nux vs Drew Harper Match Type: Jobber vs Heel - Total defeat Joey has quickly become my favorite heel at Wrestler4Hire and who better than him to dish out a hot and methodical beat down of frat boy hunk Drew Harper. It wouldn't be easy for Joey either, which makes it all the more entertaining for the fans. Joey would have to knockout out Drew in torture racks, sleeper/chokes, camels, full nelsons...along with plenty of abuse to those abs and package. Something for everyone! 88 always has great match header graphics! Saves me some time. I was excited to see another match from Matt Miller was on deck at 88Wrestling. His body is what got my attention the most before I saw his debut match against Ethan last year. 88 bills him as "The School Jock." I'd use the phrase "The Football Frat" (but that's just because it fits a fantasy of my own😆) He fits both descriptions to a T.   This is how my after practice fantasy begins 😆😆😆 OK OK lets get back on course here before I get too distracted... Matt Miller vs Tanner Hill - 88 Wrestling According to 88Wrestling, this match was actually the predecessor to an already released tag team match that placed both Matt and Tanner up against Ethan (Axel) and Jake Mason. I haven't seen this match as of yet. It does make me just a little concerned. I was a bit underwhelmed with Matt's debut match against Ethan, as far as his in-ring skills go. I wasn't too crit...

I believe I mentioned in a previous blog that I was never a big fan of Rock Hard Wrestling. The guys were hot and the few matches I did end up purchasing were great. For whatever reason though, there wasn't anything that kept me coming back. So, when RHW stopped producing matches and 88Wrestling popped up back in 2017, I wasn't sure if a rebranding would do much. Boy was I wrong.  88 has grown on me quite a bit. I really love the website as well. It's always been super easy to navigate and its just nice to look at to be totally honest. Their web and graphics design are well thought out and whoever is in charge of creating match card graphics really puts solid effort into them. It's things like this that can make a company stand out. Their care and attention to both eye catching design and producing quality matches translates into our interest (and $$$ lol) and it keeps me coming back for more.
