Percy Austin vs Forrest Taylor - Wrestle Studs

Image
Wrestle Studs came out of nowhere, at least for me. I stumbled across the Twitter/X account late last week. Wrestle Studs is an offshoot of Muscleboy Wrestling, with a clear focus on pro-style matches as opposed to MBW's steamy content. The roster as of now is split 50/50 between familiar underground faces and guys from the indies. You'll probably recognize several of the new faces if you are an indie wrestling fan in general. We've seen some of the bigger underground companies have a side-project that stems from the original, and they usually just end up getting absorbed back into the main website. If it sticks to the pro-style content, Wrestle Studs has a lot of great potential to stand up on it's own and could even attract other wrestlers that might shy away from the more bluntly erotic mat matches on MBW. Percy Austin vs Forrest Taylor - Wrestle Studs   A little bit of trash talk and the boys get down to business. Percy striking first, which wipes the grin right o...

Meaty vs Silas - Thunders Arena

Silas vs Meaty: No Holds Barred 259 - Thunders Arena Over the past few weeks, Thunders has debuted several new faces, many of which got my attention. I picked up Jedrick vs Scorpion, which I can't say enough good things about and a highlight of that match will be coming...but I also I can't say no to a Silas match 😁 so I'll feature this one first. Silas enters the mat room and is really impressed with Meaty's physique. He's always looked great, but is extra cut since previous matches and Silas takes some time to admire his soon to be opponents progress. The two lock in and Meaty easily powers Silas down to the mat and mounts him as Silas starts to feel up his opponents chest. Not even 2 minutes into the action and I'm already loving this! It looks like this could be all Meaty, but it's not long before Silas finds his stride turning this into a competition. He returns the favor of Meaty's antics and dirty tactics with several of his own...and yes this ma...

Jett Ortega vs Bam Bam Bossio - Weekend Wrestling

Image
I had intended to get this up last week, but Google suddenly didn't like my ad blocker being turned on (which took me a while to figure out that was the issue.) I couldn't upload photos or post. This has happened before, but it typically just resolved itself after a short time. Anyways, lets talk about Jett vs Bam Bam, a recent release from Weekend Wrestling Jett Ortega vs Bam Bam Bossio - Weekend Wrestling Jett and Bam Bam meet in the ring, where Bossio explains to Jett that a fan had requested he give out a few pointers and suggests since Jett is "kinda getting up there" he might need some extra practice as a refresher. RUDE lol. Hopefully Bam Bam gets a nice ass kicking here.  Things start off calmly enough, with the two exchanging a variety of suplexes and throws, sometimes followed with a pin attempt. Bam Bam really seems to be wearing Jett out, but Jett might have just been playing into Bossio's ego in an attempt to take him by surprise. It's not long b...

Ernie Lofton vs Dante Vice - Weekend Wrestling

Image
Hunks Ernie and Dante step into the Weekend Wrestling ring in this hot  debut match! Ernie Lofton vs Dante Vice - Weekend Wrestling    Ernie is looking to get back into the ring after some time off during an injury, and thankfully for both he and the audience, underground newcomer Dante Vice is happy to step into the ring and help out. The two agree to a competitive but friendly match. Only time will tell just how friendly this match remains. Things start off friendly enough, with the two swapping and reversing holds in an attempt to get a feel for each others in-ring skill and strengths. Not too far into the match, I get the sense that this won't end up with the two shaking hands at the end. Ernie wrenches Dante into a modified abdominal stretch and the expression on his face as he looks down at Dante signals that his attitude might be changing, and could be foreshadowing a shift in the match soon to come... Ernie is accidentally tossed out of the ring by Dante. A simple...

Cody Blayde vs Johnny Greco - Weekend Wrestling

Image
Johnny comes to the rescue of fellow wrestler Cody Blayde, but is repaid with an ass kicking in this recent match from the boys at Weekend Wrestling. Cody Blayde vs Johnny Greco - Weekend Wrestling This is only the 3rd Cody match I've featured here, but he's one of my favorites on the WW roster. He's a skilled pro wrestler who is cocky, energetic, and looks great in any gear you put him in. Same goes for Johnny, although we see him on the receiving end much more often than not. That's not a complaint either. He's an awesome jobber and has taken some very hot and memorable beatings! This match promises to be no different. Whether or not Cody was actually stuck under the ring is up in the air, but if this was just a trap devised by Cody to take advantage of whichever wrestler responded would be no surprise.  This is all mat action and Cody mercilessly bends and contorts his opponent like it's going out of style. We get to see Johnny stretched out with his beefy ...

Dirty D vs Danny Mercury - Weekend Wrestling

Image
Dirty D vs Danny Mercury - Weekend Wrestling The first thing that captured my attention for this match even before I saw the preview was the photo below: I'm a big gear fan (I'd assume most of us are) and to me, the choice of gear in a match is very important and Danny looks hot as fuck in his blue lace-up trunks! Yeah I get thongs are hot, but I've always felt they are used too often and unfortunately can give the match a bit of a stale vibe before it even starts. This is of course just my opinion, but I'll always take speedos, pro gear, or singlets (as long at the straps come down at some point!) over the skimpier options. Anyways, that's another topic for another post.  I can't fail to mention the menacing Dirty D, one of Weekend's most calculated and methodical heels crocuhed down over his defeated (potentially) opponent. Hell yeah. Ok, onto the match. Danny tries to convince Dirty D to take a hike, probably not looking forward to a possible David vs ...

T-World vs Rich King - UK Wrestling Hub

Image
T-World vs Rich King - UK Wrestling Hub You might have been left just as confused as I was when the UKWH website went down and all of their socials were deleted. I hit up T-World and he said their WatchFighters page is still up and running. It contains most, if not all of the matches from the old website. So, good news for fans if like me you had your eye on a few matches before the site closed. It also looks like they'll be resuming filming this spring!  So, onto the review: "He has no chance." Tim says to the audience as he is about to defend his championship against newcomer Rich King in what would be the final UKWH title match (at least for a little while.) Prior to this, Tim had another really great title defense against another UKWH newcomer, Blake. Blake put up an awesome fight against Tim to the point I thought he may have been able to take out the champ! Ultimately, T-World prevailed. You can check out that review by clicking here. I also corrected the downloa...
