  Cody Blayde vs Gabe Steel - Weekend Wrestling Cody has been on a winning streak as of late at Weekend Wrestling, and he collides with Gabe Steel in the in his latest match with the company. I'm a huge fan of both Cody and Gabe, so I already know this one is going to be a hit! Cody has been a real gem of an addition to the roster at Weekend since his debut against Blake Starr back in late 2020. Energetic and unpredictable, he's been on a winning streak and I feel like his opponents often underestimate him. Cody promises to hit Gabe in the face, and the ass. There will be plenty of that and more from both men.   I had assumed Gabe would take quick control, but quite the opposite. Cody really takes it to him right from the start, with Gabe's package bouncing around with every hit and submission hold he takes. Cody makes all that muscle on Gabe look useless!   Gabe Steel vs Kal Handsome - Weekend Wrestling I wanted to get this up last week but fell a little behind, and it looks like I'm not alone in losing track of time... You'd assume Kal would think twice about showing up late again after the beating he took at the hands of Roger Atlas in his last match at WW for the same reason. Unfortunately for Kal, no lessons were learned as he scrambles down to the ring to meet up with Gabe who is already ready and waiting. Kal is seated at ringside rushing to put his gear on. Personally, I love the red shorts he is always wearing each time he comes to the ring. Although they typically get stripped off (which I'm not complaining about) Kal is one of those guys that can look great in just about any battle attire. He manages to get at least his knee pads on before that trademark malicious grin starts to form across Gabe's face and he launches his attack on Kal. Josh aka Silas vs Gabe Steel - WatchFighters Gabe Steel - OnlyFans Josh (aka Silas) takes on Gabe Steel in a hot 20 minute singlet strip match on Gabe's OnlyFans. Independently created wrestling content and matches, meaning outside of the bigger underground companies, has REALLY taken off like a rocket over the last year. There's a lot of appeal. Seeing the guys battle it out in a personal mat room in an unscripted promission contest really gets me going. They always tend to be more intense without the worry or concern of a pre-set performance and you don't get those occasional awkward glares of "am I doing this right?" towards the camera. After a short warm up scene with Josh, the boys get right down to business. These 2 singlet clad studs give us a hot and intense mat battle, with some occasional stand up.   Very deserving of my first Wrestler of the Month feature, readers voted Gabe Steel to take the honors for February! Thank you to all that took the time to vote. I will be featuring all 4 of the guys that were in the poll at some point :) It's hard to find someone who has such an unbridled passion for underground wrestling like Gabe does.   Truth be told, I never got into the superhero sub-kink on the wrestling kink tree. You would assume it goes hand in hand with singlets and gear, right? I did have a big crush on Gambit when I was younger, but that's about as far as it went for me 😋 Gabe Steel vs Elite Eliot - WeekendWrestling Believe it or not, this is my first review of an Elite Eliot match even though I've watched plenty. Almost all of them are definitely worthy of a post here. I've shared my thoughts about a couple of Gabe's matches already. I also had the privilege of meeting him twice in Chicago during Market Days and was able to wrestle him one of those times. He's vicious in all the right ways on the mat. I'm excited to see these two go at it! Several of the preview pics were more than enough to get me to check this match out, and this one in particular sold me: WHEW Anyways... What makes a great heel? In the underground wrestling world, there are plenty of guys that claim this label...but what qualities must they possess in order to fully encompass the role and become a top heel in the business? Dirty Tyson The Hammer     Tyson Could have easily fit into most of the categories I've compiled here and it's the reason hes not only my favorite guy at UCW, but also one of my favorite heels. If you've seen any of his matches, you know he has no problem using dirty tactics like low blows, eye pokes, and even mysterious substances. All of his matches are great, but the ones that stick out the most are between he and Zack Reno (there have been 4 or 5 now, with one just recently released where Tyson may have taken the title back from Zack.
