  Jonathan Alvarez vs Tripp Evans - Hunks Wrestling *the gifs may take a little longer than usual to load. They saved as larger file sizes than normal. Not sure why* Hunks Wrestling branches out into new territory with their latest release, an hour long battle between Jonathan and Tripp with Steve Mason tossing on the referee stripes to call the match. Steve DEFINITELY WAS NOT paid off by Tripp and will absolutely call the match RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE! 😛   Tripp jumps into the ring while Jon is warming up, and you can tell right off the bat Tripp can't wait to sink his teeth into Jonathan. The guys spend some time flexing and checking each other out before heading to the mat for a short arm wrestling contest. With tensions built up the two are ready to go at it, but then Steve steps into the ring and offers to officiate.   NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS!   Dark Jr vs Kiram - Hunks Wrestling Dark Jr makes his much anticipated return to the Hunks Wrestling mat room against Kiram in their latest release. I was really happy to see Dark return!!! He's one of my favorites on the HW roster. According to the website, he had taken a break from wrestling and it seems like this was just a quick shoot while he was available. I hope he returns for more fights soon! He's a staple on their roster along with guys like Steve, Ivan, and Jonathan. The first thing I want to bring up is that at the start of the fight, there is a disclaimer that this match occurred a bit last minute, and wasn't done with the usual production crew. Outside of a moment or two where the camera is zoomed in for a few seconds, I didn't even notice. So, kudos to whoever was filming. They filmed all the action and captured good angles for the viewer. Soooooo it's been quite a while since I've sat down to blog. Personal stuff, work, and probably a nice helping of seasonal depression are to blame (thankfully it's going to be near 80 all this week.) I just haven't had the time or concentration recently. I know I've never exactly posted on a regular basis, but almost two months has gone by and I wanted to at least share some kind of update on here. Hot Releases: While I haven't shared any reviews, I've still checked out plenty of really awesome matches over the last 2 months Roger Atlas vs Diego Maya - Weekend Wrestling Zach Ramos vs Jack Dillon - Muscleboy Wrestling It's so cool to see studs from the indie wrestling scene making their debuts or returns! I think we could all come up with at least a short list of indie guys we'd love to see shoot with some of the underground companies. Yeah, we love hot guys in gear, but we want also want solid wrestling too right? Nothing turns me off more than moves...

 I've been able to check out a couple of great matches over the last month, but unfortunately haven't had the time to sit down and give each a proper review. Here are a few of my favorites: Ivan Guerrero vs Jonathan Alvarez - HunksWrestling Ever since Jonathan's debut, I'd been hoping these two would face each other on the mats. Jonathan was very cocky at the end of his surprising victory against Steve Mason, and I didn't think it would be very long before he was put up against one of the fiercest competitors at HunksWrestling, Ivan Guerrero. I wanted nothing more than to see Ivan demolish the arrogant and handsome rookie. I won't tell you if I got my wish, but this was an energetic and intense battle for sure. You get the sense there really is some bad blood between these two. Jonathan Alvarez vs Steve Mason - HunksWrestling   The half-hour long battle starts off with an unsuspecting Jonathan entering what I'm going to dub from here on out the "Steve Mason Submission Plaza," a recreational area fans who have seen previous HW matches should be familiar with. A scouting area for Steve to spot out new (and unsuspecting) talent and find himself a challenge. Steve approaches Jonathan and is impressed by his workout and natural build and asks if he can watch some of his routine. The viewers know that Steve isn't there to just talk about fitness, but ultimately wants this guy on the HW mats. Casual talking turns a bit heated and eventually Steve issues the challenge to wrestle. The pair heads to the mat room.
