Jonathan Alvarez vs Tripp Evans - Hunks Wrestling

*the gifs may take a little longer than usual to load. They saved as larger file sizes than normal. Not sure why*

Hunks Wrestling branches out into new territory with their latest release, an hour long battle between Jonathan and Tripp with Steve Mason tossing on the referee stripes to call the match. Steve DEFINITELY WAS NOT paid off by Tripp and will absolutely call the match RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE! 😛

Tripp jumps into the ring while Jon is warming up, and you can tell right off the bat Tripp can't wait to sink his teeth into Jonathan. The guys spend some time flexing and checking each other out before heading to the mat for a short arm wrestling contest. With tensions built up the two are ready to go at it, but then Steve steps into the ring and offers to officiate.

NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS! I'm sure Tripp just owed Steve some money 😆

The first half of the match has a pretty even pace with back and forth action mostly contained down on the mat.Tripp has the bigger build of the two, but Jonathan has the height advantage. By the middle of the match it looks like Jonathan is starting to get the upper hand on Tripp. Could we be in for a bit of an upset?

As you may have expected, Steve comes to the rescue and this becomes a 2 on 1 savage ball-bash with Jonathan at the mercy of his now 2 opponents. It might be a good thing Tripp paid off Steve in the beginning of the match. His package is staring us in the face the entire time and without the bribe, Tripp and Jonathan's roles might have been reversed in this scenario (and that's a scenario I wouldn't mind seeing.)

The only question now is if can Jonathan overcome the odds. He's been able to last in other tough battles he's been in during his time on the Hunks Wrestling roster, but being outnumbered combined with the ruthless in-ring torture Tripp and Steve are dishing out might just be too much

Running a match this long comes with lots of risks, in particular it becoming repetitive and boring, but the transition in the middle of the match along with Steve's involvement/interference was more than enough to keep my attention. Ball-bash fans will really dig this one.

Can Jonathan somehow take out both Tripp and Steve? Or is it game over for Hunk Wrestling's resident twunk?

  1. I'll have to check this one out. I love a match where the ref is pro heel and even better if joins in.

The only thing to make this better was if it was a tag team.
