As we come to the end of the year I decided to follow along with other bloggers and round up my favorites from 2019. This will be pretty to the point and I will only get descriptive with a handful of categories that require me to. I call them favorites instead of "best" because there are so many matches that came out this year that I didn't purchase that I'm sure could have easily made this list. UCW 693: Zack Reno Vs. Tyson The Champion   The rematch I've been waiting for has finally arrived! Zack gets one more shot at the UCW title after being defeated by the champ when Tyson had to resort to some dirty tactics to put Reno away the first time. (You can check out my review of that match by clicking here ) One thing I wish we would see more of in underground wrestling are promos. We get one from Zack where Bodyslam grants him a title shot rematch. Zack is no longer a new guy at UCW and is ready for whatever tricks Tyson might have in store for him.  "...anything goes! You get me in that ring, no holds barred!" Before the match starts, both men are confident of a victory. Zack declaring he will walk out with the belt and Tyson, who seems completely unconcerned, obviously tells us he's keeping his title. Tyson's brash confidence along with his unorthodox and at times dirty wrestling style really epitomizes the no ref no set of rules style of U

So, I did some thinking. I was so satisfied with the Cody vs Dash match from 88Wrestling (I'm definitely a big fan of the company now) I decided I should revisit 88's predecessor, Rock Hard Wrestling. Looks like I'm totally unfamiliar with their final 2 catalogs. One match caught my eye right away. A well known underground vet tormenting a hot tattooed rookie? Yes please. I fucking loved every sweat soaked dick twitching minute. I'm just totally dead from a long day at work and I have one more to go in the morning. I want to get my thoughts out and blogged down while they are as fresh as possible. I believe I mentioned in a previous blog that I was never a big fan of Rock Hard Wrestling. The guys were hot and the few matches I did end up purchasing were great. For whatever reason though, there wasn't anything that kept me coming back. So, when RHW stopped producing matches and 88Wrestling popped up back in 2017, I wasn't sure if a rebranding would do much. Boy was I wrong.  88 has grown on me quite a bit. I really love the website as well. It's always been super easy to navigate and its just nice to look at to be totally honest. Their web and graphics design are well thought out and whoever is in charge of creating match card graphics really puts solid effort into them. It's things like this that can make a company stand out. Their care and attention to both eye catching design and producing quality matches translates into our interest (and $$$ lol) and it keeps me coming back for more. Hey everyone! I hope you are all well. I was in a steady habit of making at least one post a week here, but I've definitely drifted away from that this past month. I'm always trying to keep a healthy balance between work and time with friends, and also allowing at least one day for "me" time each week. I'm typically pretty good at that...but this past month it's been difficult to keep that balance. I have a big move coming up at the end of the year so I've been working plenty of OT. Combine that with a ton of Halloween events (Halloween is a HUGE deal with my friends and I) and I just haven't had the extra time to check out and review any matches or work on KSW much for you guys. I want to say is how excited I am at some of the talented (and hot!) guys Cameron over at Wrestler4Hire is pulling into his ring. Young Ady vs Sammy Scrapper - Matman Cup 4  If you were to ask me who are my favorite guys on the Spotland roster, brothers Ady and Sammy would be at the top of that list. They have faced off several times in a variety of match types and scenarios and we are treated once again to what looks to be an exciting promission mat battle! This is the 4th match in the "Matman Cup" series from Spotland. When these 2 meet in the ring or on the mat, its likely to have an unpredictable outcome. Both guys are athletic and confident, and will always want to come out as the top brother. Don't be too fooled by this though. While they have had aggressive matches, this one (while still a serious competition) shows the guys sharing a few laughs in between tap-outs, reminiscing and teasing each other.   Gabe Steel vs Marcus Ryan - Muscleboy Wrestling ***This is one of the hottest matches I have seen in years!!!!!!*** MBW shared photos of Marcus while promoting their latest group of matches in Catalog 16 "The Rougher the Better!" He's super cute and immediately grabbed my attention. I had no idea who he'd be up against, but that body is just begging to be manhandled! If he were placed up against another toned twink in a fun back and forth match, I wouldn't complain...but luckily for us his debut match for MBW is against muscle hunk Gabe Steel!
