  Out of all the wrestlers I have featured in the past for WotM, Brendan Byers is probably the one with both the longest tenure and catalog of matches in underground wrestling. An easily recognizable name and face to both long time and newer fans of the scene, Brendan's matches arguably never fail to please even the most selective of viewers. The earliest I could find from Brendan was both from Demolition 8 and Jobberpalozer 5 on BG East where he took on Joe Mazetti and Brooklyn Bodywrecker. Over the years he has transformed himself from a lean jobber to a muscular heel, and one of the best in the business! While I've only featured 4 or 5 of his matches here on my blog over the years, Brendan has put out some absolute bangers since he started his in-ring career. I'll be highlighting one of my favorites here later this week where he dominates Christian Thorn (aka Shawn Duncan) in a bedroom beat-down from WrestleFrat/Wrestler4Hire. Back in 2023 I was doing a Wrestler of the Month feature, but shelved it for 2024. I've decided to bring it back! It's something relatively easy for me to write up and is a reason to keep me blogging more frequently. Tim was next on the list before I stopped doing this each month, so he is the featured wrestler for January. Based in the UK, T-World is arguably one of the most recognized European underground wrestlers. He's very skilled in the ring! Whether he's fighting it out at UKWH or FFE in the ring or if he's in a more intimate setting against fellow UK wrestlers like Sir Dark or MPJ, Tim knows how to give the audience a show win or lose. My favorite matches featuring T-World are his several battles with both AJ Nasty and Sir Dark, along with a collection of hot matches from UKWH.   This months featured wrestler is Joey Nux! Joey started wrestling with Thunders and Wrestler4Hire around 2017/2018 (it was tough to find the exact date) and has since expanded to Muscleboy and WrestlingMale Joey is in his 40's (hot daddy alert!) and is in better shape than most folks in their 20's. He has a solid combat background and has even competed in amateur MMA in the past. Combine his looks and skill and you have a perfect combo for being an underground wrestling hit! It's easy to see how much Joey loves being in the ring and working with (and over) his fellow wrestlers. His best work is when he unleashes his inner heel, using his raw power and strength to establish supremacy over his opponents. Joey tops the list for some of my favorite matches from Wrestler4Hire!   Debuting at Weekend Wrestling on NYE of 2022, Tedros has kept the boys on the roster in check and on guard. With his unique personality and style, he's become one of my favorites at Weekend Wrestling! His first match was up against the big and beefy Roger Atlas , where he decimated the "All American" muscle hunk and has since remained undefeated.   From his humble beginnings in BG East's Backyard Brawls series, Bobby Horton has transformed over the years from poolside twink into the monster heel "Dirty D" we know him as today. I was first turned on to D in the match I mentioned above. The whole DVD is great and is one of my BG east favorites to this day, and it includes other BG East all stars like Johnny Firestorm, Jaxx O'Doul, and Alexi Adamov. I highly recommend it! After quite the wrestling hiatus, Bobby resurfaced at Weekend Wrestling as Dirty D in October of 2020 where he crushed Drew Harper and has since wrestled in over a dozen matches, giving us some of the hottest and most unrelenting jobber demolitions of the decade so far! With over a decade of experience, Dirty D has become an absolute beast and force to be reckoned with for anyone he hits the mats or steps in the ring with.   October already huh? Seems like just yesterday I was writing up the wrestler of the month post for September lol. Although still relatively new to underground wrestling, Bam Bam Bossio quickly made it to my favorites list (and likely many of yours) shortly after he popped up last year with Wrestler4Hire. He's also filmed with Weekend Wrestling recently and I'm very excited to see more of him from both companies! Bam Bam's first match on the scene was with Braxton at W4H. It was a fierce and competitive battle that ended up being my favorite ring match of 2022 . What a debut! It didn't take long at all for him to develop an arrogant and cocky model boy character. That might not be unique in the wrestling world, but Bossio makes it memorable. Sometimes that personality gets him into hot water, like in his last match where he faced the absolute beast of a man VanGore. Regardless if he's getting his ass kicked or the one doing the ass kicking, Bam Bam never disappoint...

  So I never got around to sharing a Wrestler of the Month here back in August so Axel will be doubling up for both months. Axel needs no introduction. From the humble beginnings of UCW and in turn his underground career, he has become a legend. The guy has wrestled just about everywhere and has put on some of the most memorable matches from the last decade. In the ring, on the mats, in the oil pit, or in the Hero Hunks lair...Axel can entertain the tastes of any and all combat kink fans. My favorites were always Axel's matches from UCW, and I'll be highlighting one of those here in the next week or so. We all have our fingers crossed that a buyer will come along and take over UCW and at the very least maintain their current catalog. It'd be a real shame to lose so many iconic matches featuring Axel and many of our other favorites.   It's hard to believe the year is already half way over. The weather is getting hotter and so are the matches from all of your favorite underground wrestlers and companies! No better time to highlight Silas, who is one of the hottest wrestlers on the scene right now! Silas slipped into a speedo and onto the underground circuit towards the middle of 2022. While he's only wrestled for Thunders, WrestlerFrat, and a few matches for Gabe Steels indie filmings, he's a VERY talented grappler and you think he'd already been wrestling in front of the camera for years. Silas is an absolute natural with a smokin' hot body and looks that go right along with his cocky and confident attitude. On the mats or in the ring, his wrestling skills and performance are second to none and whether it be submission or pro style, he will never leave the audience disappointed! and holy fuck can he sell a sleeper! Happy Pride Month!  From rough and competitive action on the mat all the way to the sensual and hedonistic oil pits, Christian Thorn is one of underground wrestling's hottest and most well-rounded fighters and is the highlighted wrestler for the month of June. Christian debuted a few years ago with either Wrestler4Hire or Movimus. I can't say for sure which he appeared with first, but I believe they were right around the same time. He's also shot several matches with WrestleFrat and one superhero themed match with Underground Wrestler.  Jobber or heel, this chiseled and tatted stud never disappoints the fans and all of his matches throw the full spectrum of erotic grappling at the audience!
