It's been forever since I've last featured anything from Spotland. Their roster looks a lot different these days with quite a number of new faces they've added since the last time I've highlighted them here on my blog. My two all time favorites from Spotland are Sammy Scrapper and Young Ady. I'm fairly certain Ady has been retired from action for a while. Sammy I'm not too sure about, but the last match released with him wasn't that long ago. Over the last year I've purchased just over a half a dozen of their battles and have found a couple new guys on their roster to add to my list of favorites. Spotland's ScrapEx series matches always catch my attention. These matches are typically customs that feature more "edgy" ring and mat match scenarios. Soooooo it's been quite a while since I've sat down to blog. Personal stuff, work, and probably a nice helping of seasonal depression are to blame (thankfully it's going to be near 80 all this week.) I just haven't had the time or concentration recently. I know I've never exactly posted on a regular basis, but almost two months has gone by and I wanted to at least share some kind of update on here. Hot Releases: While I haven't shared any reviews, I've still checked out plenty of really awesome matches over the last 2 months Roger Atlas vs Diego Maya - Weekend Wrestling Zach Ramos vs Jack Dillon - Muscleboy Wrestling It's so cool to see studs from the indie wrestling scene making their debuts or returns! I think we could all come up with at least a short list of indie guys we'd love to see shoot with some of the underground companies. Yeah, we love hot guys in gear, but we want also want solid wrestling too right? Nothing turns me off more than moves...

I know it is now November 1st, but I'd like to take a minute and highlight all of the Halloween themed matches released over the last few days. I haven't checked any of them out just yet, but there's a match or 2 I have my eye on:   Flesh Fearium - BWN Flesh Fearium was a PPV event put on by BWN just last night. I don't have a ton of info on this one unfortunately, but it includes some of BWN's hottest guys! Inferno vs DanyWrestler - Hunks Wrestling Man, something about Inferno really turns me on! This starts outdoors and eventually moves onto the mats with "dirty and dark weapons" involved, according to the HW website. Looks like a hot match! Halloween Special - Spotland Scrappers There isn't a new Halloween Special from Spotland this year due to Covid restrictions, but they are offering matches from both 2016 and 2018 for only $8! Again, not a ton of info about either of these matchs, but I'm sure you can expect the typical cheeky fun that comes ...

Young Ady vs Sammy Scrapper - Matman Cup 4  If you were to ask me who are my favorite guys on the Spotland roster, brothers Ady and Sammy would be at the top of that list. They have faced off several times in a variety of match types and scenarios and we are treated once again to what looks to be an exciting promission mat battle! This is the 4th match in the "Matman Cup" series from Spotland. When these 2 meet in the ring or on the mat, its likely to have an unpredictable outcome. Both guys are athletic and confident, and will always want to come out as the top brother. Don't be too fooled by this though. While they have had aggressive matches, this one (while still a serious competition) shows the guys sharing a few laughs in between tap-outs, reminiscing and teasing each other. Spotland Scrappers is one of the underground companies I rarely see talked or blogged about, yet the matches they produce are on par with other pro style matches from companies like UCW and Wrestler4Hire. They have also recently overhauled their main website and its much easier to navigate than it used to be https://www.spotlandscrappers.co.uk I've purchased around 10-15 of their matches over the years and I've loved all of them, so shame on me for not writing up a review much sooner.
