I've mused more than once about what a favorite of mine Zach(k) Reno has become. I also picked him as my #1 fighter in my 2019 review post. A true underground talent without question. Heel, jobber, or a solid back and forth, he can do it all and do it well. He also can pull off both a hairy or smooth body (and so can Brendan!) Needless to say I was immediately sold when I had a post come across my Twitter feed that he was going to be double teamed by Brendan Byers and Cole Cassidy in Weekend Wrestling's next release. Brendan Byers & Cole Cassidy vs Zach Reno - Weekend Wrestling Cole brings in Brendan who, in handcuffs, seems totally under Cole's control. The two enter the ring where Zach is already waiting. Round one of the KSW Submission Title Tournament kicks off with our first 2 matches, Jace Poseidon vs Cartier Black and BJ vs Mike Storm! Jace and Cartier circle each other in the ring. This is the KSW debut for both men and they are both determined to walk out of the ring with a 1-0 start to their career. The two men square off and trade headlocks and arm wrenches. After a long back and forth, Cartier finally gets Jace off guard and catches him in a dragon sleeper! It's early on in the match, but Cartier really has the sleeper on tight and Jace looks like he's starting to fade! Somehow Jace still has enough awareness left and is able to wrap his right arm around the back of Cartier's head for a quick roll-up pin. He gets a 2-count and beats Cartier back to his feet and a dropkick takes him down! This throws off Cartier just enough for Jace to lock on his signature abdominal stretch. Before I begin, I just wanted to give you a heads up that while there will definitely be wrestling related content, this is a more personal centered post. I know some of you guys just come here for the pictures, and thats fine lol. I have some hot shots and gifs peppered throughout to appease the photo-scrollers. I was supposed to be in Tampa for Wrestlmania this past weekend. I had planned the trip with another wrestling friend and it was something I had been looking forward to for a very long time. While we weren't attending mania' itself, we had tickets for the NXT Takeover, Effy's Big Gay Brunch, Joey Janela's Spring Break 4, and Markus Crane's Bondage A-Go-Go.
