In the middle of December, Muscleboy Wrestling released a "Holiday Surprise" catalog featuring 4 new matches. An early holiday gift! 
 

Rob became a new favorite of mine at Muscleboy Wrestling last year after I watched his match against Tripp Evans (another great debut from 2021.) So, I couldn't say no to this one.



There's a brief confrontation in the beginning, and then it cuts right to the action. This one is definitely geared towards fans who might not be too picky about the wrestling, but love to see two hunks show off their bodies while smearing the mats with muscle and sweat, wearing each other down with raw power.

Rob is having an absolute blast in front of the camera. I wouldn't call Artemis shy on the mats, but playing to the audience will come more naturally with time. I always love watching new guys develop their skills with each new battle.


Both are billed as the same height, but Artemis has 20 pounds of muscle over Rob, making him a challenge to take down regardless of skill or prior mat experience. He did pretty well here for his first time and has plenty of potential. I'm assuming this isn't the only match he filmed with MBW and I'm looking forward to checking out any others hes in.


One of these muscleboys will use his massive biceps to cut off the blood flow to his opponents head for the final knockout victory...and they both have massive biceps. And thighs. And backs. And shoulders...

You get the idea. The win could easily go to either one of these men.

  Wrestle Studs came out of nowhere, at least for me. I stumbled across the Twitter/X account late last week. Wrestle Studs is an offshoot of Muscleboy Wrestling, with a clear focus on pro-style matches as opposed to MBW's steamy content. The roster as of now is split 50/50 between familiar underground faces and guys from the indies. You'll probably recognize several of the new faces if you are an indie wrestling fan in general. We've seen some of the bigger underground companies have a side-project that stems from the original, and they usually just end up getting absorbed back into the main website. If it sticks to the pro-style content, Wrestle Studs has a lot of great potential to stand up on it's own and could even attract other wrestlers that might shy away from the more bluntly erotic mat matches on MBW.   I've never had any particular affinity for big vs little matches, but Joey McCoy has become a favorite of mine at MBW and I know a lot of guys really love size mismatches in a fight. So, I decided to take a look at Dax Carter vs Joey McCoy from the latest Muscleboy catalog. Dax Carter vs Joey McCoy - Muscleboy Wrestling   Even Dax has a hard time believing that Joey here is who he is scheduled to wrestle with on Muscleboy's iconic orange mats. This has all the signs of a mismatch squash with poor Joey at the receiving end. Fortunately for him, Dax takes just a little bit too long talking to the camera about his confusion and Joey takes full advantage. I'm so glad this is happening. It seems like many of the matches I've been watching lately have been one sided battles.
