  Out of all the wrestlers I have featured in the past for WotM, Brendan Byers is probably the one with both the longest tenure and catalog of matches in underground wrestling. An easily recognizable name and face to both long time and newer fans of the scene, Brendan's matches arguably never fail to please even the most selective of viewers. The earliest I could find from Brendan was both from Demolition 8 and Jobberpalozer 5 on BG East where he took on Joe Mazetti and Brooklyn Bodywrecker. Over the years he has transformed himself from a lean jobber to a muscular heel, and one of the best in the business! While I've only featured 4 or 5 of his matches here on my blog over the years, Brendan has put out some absolute bangers since he started his in-ring career. I'll be highlighting one of my favorites here later this week where he dominates Christian Thorn (aka Shawn Duncan) in a bedroom beat-down from WrestleFrat/Wrestler4Hire.   "Suck It Jobber!"Sir Dark vs Max - WatchFighters If watching a cute guy get humiliated by an experienced and dominant heel is a style of match you enjoy, you'll love this close-quarters encounter between Sir Dark and Max!   Once Sir Dark tosses Max down onto the mattress, it's a solid half hour of straight non-stop domination. I've seen plenty of really great matches were he takes on a jobber role or is entrenched in an intense back and forth battle, but Sir Dark's ruthless side is definitely my favorite. We get it 100% in this. It's easy to tell Sir Dark loves every fuckin' minute too. He frequently puts on a sadistic smile while watching Max suffer in each smother he applies and hold he locks on. Often glancing over at the camera to get a full view of the punishment he's dishing out.   Jonathan Alvarez vs Tripp Evans - Hunks Wrestling *the gifs may take a little longer than usual to load. They saved as larger file sizes than normal. Not sure why* Hunks Wrestling branches out into new territory with their latest release, an hour long battle between Jonathan and Tripp with Steve Mason tossing on the referee stripes to call the match. Steve DEFINITELY WAS NOT paid off by Tripp and will absolutely call the match RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE! 😛   Tripp jumps into the ring while Jon is warming up, and you can tell right off the bat Tripp can't wait to sink his teeth into Jonathan. The guys spend some time flexing and checking each other out before heading to the mat for a short arm wrestling contest. With tensions built up the two are ready to go at it, but then Steve steps into the ring and offers to officiate.   NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS! Back in 2023 I was doing a Wrestler of the Month feature, but shelved it for 2024. I've decided to bring it back! It's something relatively easy for me to write up and is a reason to keep me blogging more frequently. Tim was next on the list before I stopped doing this each month, so he is the featured wrestler for January. Based in the UK, T-World is arguably one of the most recognized European underground wrestlers. He's very skilled in the ring! Whether he's fighting it out at UKWH or FFE in the ring or if he's in a more intimate setting against fellow UK wrestlers like Sir Dark or MPJ, Tim knows how to give the audience a show win or lose. My favorite matches featuring T-World are his several battles with both AJ Nasty and Sir Dark, along with a collection of hot matches from UKWH.
