The List #3 - KSW Favorites

Image
This blog originally started out as a place for me to post stories from my pro wrestling fantasy fed, KSW. I know I don't post new matches and stories nearly as often as I used to. I never expected my blog to become anything like it has today. I love doing the underground reviews, but damn I miss posting my fiction on a regular basis.  I do have 2 more matches on deck, its just time consuming to edit and write them up and also takes a lot of motivation. I really have to be in the right mood. Hopefully soon!

Zach Reno vs Roger Atlas - Weekend Wrestling

Image
Just the idea of these two meeting in the ring screams squash match. Johnny is billed at 5'6 150lbs and Atlas at 5'9 220lbs. A mismatch for certain. Someone came up with this scenario as a custom match at Weekend Wrestling and I am about to watch this fan scripted concept come to life. This isn't Roger's underground debut but it is his WW debut. He had an incredible match with Johnny Grecco at Muscleboy. I didn't review that one, but I loved it and definitely suggest checking it out. Zach Reno vs Roger Atlas - Weekend Wrestling Who better to show the new guy around than seasoned veteran Zach Reno? He has helped Roger find his way to the ring but needs just one more thing from Zach. He asks Zach to be his sparring partner, or someone he can throw around like a sandbag to be more specific.  Zach has his shades on (which are really cool tbh) and looks like he's about to go tanning on the beach or maybe just going to find a place to stand around and look good.  An...

The List #2

Image
A couple of days late, but I didn't want to skip it this week. I really enjoy doing these and it gives me and excuse to play with my photo editor 😊 Here is my list for the week of April 5th, 2021: I posted a story on Instagram asking my followers to give me a topic to list my top 3 on. It was opening to anything, and thankfully they were all wrestling related, giving me some good ideas for list topics down the road. This week I decided on my favorite Jobbers, both old school and new.         As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Who are some of your favorite jobbers?

EC vs T-World - UK Wrestling Hub

Image
I've been following UKWH for a little while now and have been wanting to check out a few of their matches. They have a modest but respectable roster of six and about ten matches available to download at present. They range from themed in-ring pro to oil submission battles. Along with match downloads, the website offers both private and custom matches and also advertises ring rental. A friend of mine informed me the guys are giving away 100 free downloads of two of their matches (first come first serve) by using the codes below:  I snagged EC vs T-World last night and was still able to get it for free. It might be safe to assume that, by now, the 100 free dl's have been claimed. Still worth a try though! EC vs T-World - UK Wrestling Hub The first thing I noticed is the venue size. A small, or more preferably described as "intimate" ring surrounded by walls that look like they are covered in black soundproofing. Definitely gives off a secret or secluded vibe which I l...

Ivan Guerrero vs Marlow - HunksWrestling

Image
Ivan Guerrero vs Marlow - HunksWrestling   This is HW's second to most recent release featuring an encounter between Ivan Guerrero (arguably the most handsome guy on their roster) and Marlow, the lean and fuzzy newcomer.  The video starts with 5 minutes of footage of both guys warming up. Ivan hits the beach for his while Marlow rehearses Capoeira and stretches on the mats. I could watch Ivan work out all afternoon 😋   He steps onto the mats to see Marlow and is not impressed with his "dancing."     The match starts of slow and it stays that way if I'm going to be totally honest. It reminds me of something you do hanging out in your buddies basement when you and your friends are bored and need to blow off some pent up testosterone. Just toying with each other with the occasional microburst of actual aggression here and there. Not the typical intense competitive mat battles we are used to seeing from HunksWrestling. It's not a complaint, just not what I wa...
