EC vs T-World - UK Wrestling Hub

 

I've been following UKWH for a little while now and have been wanting to check out a few of their matches. They have a modest but respectable roster of six and about ten matches available to download at present. They range from themed in-ring pro to oil submission battles. Along with match downloads, the website offers both private and custom matches and also advertises ring rental.

A friend of mine informed me the guys are giving away 100 free downloads of two of their matches (first come first serve) by using the codes below: 

I snagged EC vs T-World last night and was still able to get it for free. It might be safe to assume that, by now, the 100 free dl's have been claimed. Still worth a try though!

The first thing I noticed is the venue size. A small, or more preferably described as "intimate" ring surrounded by walls that look like they are covered in black soundproofing. Definitely gives off a secret or secluded vibe which I love in underground wrestling. The ring size also forces the guys to stay closer together, which doesn't leave a ton of room for escaping a brutal submission or a solid pummeling.

I recognize T-World's face. I feel like I may have come across his MeetFighters profile at some point? I can't say for certain. Otherwise, I'm not familiar with these two. Let's see what they've got!

As the match starts off, the action is pretty decent with EC playing the strong beefy heel and T-World the lean jobber. Both guys look great and the gear matches their roles. Another plus.
EC is a good heel and it's fun to watch him pick apart T all over the ring, using the corners and ropes as tools of destruction to wear his toned  opponent down

 

I love the gif directly above in particular. EC pounces on T-World, stunning him, but pulls up the rope to add a choke in for good measure. T is a great jobber too. It's hot to watch him take this beating and he doesn't oversell. It's just right. He gets some offense in as well, but will it be enough to turn the tide?

This is a pretty solid 10-minute pro match with a good mix of strikes, submission holds, and dirty tactics. It's shot with a single SD camera (it's not low quality, just SD by today's standards) and has some good close ups, in particular during some of the submissions which I really liked. This was a great introduction to UKWH and I can say for sure I'll be checking out more of their matches and keeping an eye on these boys going forward

A final sleeper knockout leaves one of these guys taking a nap in the ring. Does EC maintain his domination over T-World? Or does T pull off a surprise upset over his dominant opponent? Only one way to find out!
