KSW European Tour Pt 2: UK Wrestling Hub

Image
Our next stop on the KSW European tour is UK Wrestling Hub. Much more than just an underground studio producing matches - UKWH offers ring rentals, training with members of their roster, private matches, and even merch! UK Wrestling Hub   I had just become aware of UKWH sometime last year, and not long after I checked them out for the first time, they offered 2 of their first matches free for everyone to download for a brief period of time. I reviewed one of those matches, EC vs T-World ( and you can read that by clicking here ) It's my own fault I haven't found the time to give UKWH more of my attention. The underground wrestling scene has become a crowded field, in particular over the last 2 or 3 years. I'm a very easily distracted person. With a consistent stream of new matches coming out each week across more than a dozen companies, it becomes a challenge picking just one match to download, let alone take the time to review. It reminds me of my gaming library on Steam.

KSW European Tour: Pt 1 - FFE Wrestling

Experts say the safest way to travel during a pandemic is by blog 😉 so what better way to trek across parts of Europe to check out the underground wrestling scene! Hop on board KSW charter airlines (no nightmarishly long security lines, delays, or baggage fees!) for a non-stop flight to Manchester, UK for our first destination: FFE Wrestling. FFE Wrestling FFE Wrestling (who you may also know as Wrestle4afee) is currently in the middle of rebranding and restructuring. They had several websites you could find their matches on but are settling in to both their new website and a new purchase platform on WatchFighters. Those apart of the MeetFighters community are probably already familiar with WatchFighters. Founded in 2017, FFE brings together wrestlers and grapplers of all skill levels and sizes and has a very large collection of matches. I wasn't too familiar with the company until recently and decided to spend some time and really check them out. They are currently in the proces

Shockwave vs Tristan Mounts - WeekendWrestling

Image
Time is money. Shockwave vs Tristan Mounts - WeekendWrestling We see a very impatient Tristan pacing through the ring, wondering where the hell his opponent is. With a busy schedule like his, it's no wonder having to wait around for a late opponent can be frustrating. Maybe it's all by design.  Just as Tristan is about to make an exit, he runs into the mammoth new member of the Weekend Wrestling roster, Shockwave! This can't turn out well. The dismantling of Tristan Mounts begins immediately, and Shockwave nearly snaps his head off within the first minute of action. The monster heel leaves no part of Tristan unharmed. Attacking and stretching out every part of his body as Tristan shouts in increasing agony with each bend and blow. Shockwave is an absolute beast of a heel. He has plenty of your usual heel trash-talk tactics, but mostly communicates his brutality through actions and primal grunting. Highlighted by Tristan begging for mercy, it draws out a deep seated carnal

Joey McCoy vs The Handsome Strangler - WeekendWrestling

Image
Weekend Wrestling starts off the new year right by scoring yet another great indie talent, The Handsome Strangler. He makes his debut with WW against underground scrapper Joey McCoy! Joey McCoy vs The Handsome Strangler - WeekendWrestling If you have been following Weekend Wrestling closely enough over the past year, you will know that Joey has been paling around with resident "demon psychotherapist" Sid Shaw in an attempt to control his temper and evil soul sucking urges. Some more backstory from the WW website: "Since losing his temper means someone is going to lose their soul, Joey is hell bent on avoiding the complications that arise from a roster full of zombies. Sid suggested that he get some human friends and stop hanging around some of his underworldly buddies that keep him connected to his devilish and self-indulgent lifestyle. Joey connected the dots and thought it was a good time to get a tag partner. The newest member of the Weekend Wrestling Roster
