We see a very impatient Tristan pacing through the ring, wondering where the hell his opponent is. With a busy schedule like his, it's no wonder having to wait around for a late opponent can be frustrating. Maybe it's all by design. 

Just as Tristan is about to make an exit, he runs into the mammoth new member of the Weekend Wrestling roster, Shockwave!



This can't turn out well.

The dismantling of Tristan Mounts begins immediately, and Shockwave nearly snaps his head off within the first minute of action. The monster heel leaves no part of Tristan unharmed. Attacking and stretching out every part of his body as Tristan shouts in increasing agony with each bend and blow.

Shockwave is an absolute beast of a heel. He has plenty of your usual heel trash-talk tactics, but mostly communicates his brutality through actions and primal grunting. Highlighted by Tristan begging for mercy, it draws out a deep seated carnal energy that subconsciously attracted me (and most likely you if you are reading this) to wrestling all those years ago.






Tristan is at the absolute mercy of Shockwave. Some of the best parts are when he is tied up in the ropes with nowhere to go. Shockwave loves toying with Tristan as any heel should, and let's him think he can get away...but we all know better and so should Tristan. He goes limp more than once, but this doesn't stop the madman from continuing the beatdown. Savage!






The level of abuse that Tristan takes here is admirable. He's got an ego to uphold, and still finds moments of defiance even during the worst parts of his annihilation. This of course only enrages (or amuses) Shockwave further, leading to increasingly torturous punishment.

As Tristan said in the beginning, "time is money," and Shockwave doesn't waste in single minute tearing Tristan apart for our viewing pleasure.

Heels are everywhere in underground wrestling, but to see a monster like Shockwave is a real treat and something that, with a few exceptions, has been lacking on the scene for a while. Tristan is an incredible talent as well and I can't leave out how downright hot he is in those blue trunks!



This was a hot squash match that I will have no problem checking out again when I get the itch to watch a hot jobber beatdown.
