Weekend Wrestling is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine. I was VERY excited to see the preview of newcomer Jack B Worthington to the WW team. He's got that look I just go crazy over. Handsome, scruffy, tattoos...woof! The backwards hat he has on just adds a much appreciated layer of "cocky" to his persona, and we all know cocky punks are my favorite. Brendan is looking great as always, and is sporting his own newly grown scruff as well. I dig it!

 "Brutal" Brendan Byers vs Jack "JBW" Worthington - Weekend Wrestling 

 Jack starts off by really putting Brendan through the grappling ringer doing his best to wear him down as fast as possible. A quick procession of flips and cradles and alligator rolls all come out from Jacks arsenal in the first few minutes of the match. We all know that this won't be a runaway for Jack though, and its going to require more than a few acrobatic grappling maneuvers if he's going to take Brendan down for the count.








Ouch!

It's not long before the grappling and rough hits give way to submissions of all sorts from both men and will have one of them saying the first "I give!" early on in this match


This is an impressive debut for Jack. I thought the match was going to be a bit one sided, with Brendan breaking in the WW newbie, but its quite the opposite. Jack is giving Brendan everything he has, and it's working. I'm surprised to say that there is a possibility Brendan may be on the losing end of this battle. Overall, this is a very good pro match with everything you'd expect from one and more. Strikes, grappling, plenty of unique holds and some dirty tactics from both guys. Everything I look for if I want to see a hot and entertaining underground ring match! I can't wait to see what else Jack has in store for us, and hope we see him a lot more!

  Gabe Steel vs Kal Handsome - Weekend Wrestling I wanted to get this up last week but fell a little behind, and it looks like I'm not alone in losing track of time... You'd assume Kal would think twice about showing up late again after the beating he took at the hands of Roger Atlas in his last match at WW for the same reason. Unfortunately for Kal, no lessons were learned as he scrambles down to the ring to meet up with Gabe who is already ready and waiting. Kal is seated at ringside rushing to put his gear on. Personally, I love the red shorts he is always wearing each time he comes to the ring.
