2. Yes, I've been showing a lot of favoritism towards Weekend Wrestling lately 😬
3. No, I am not on the payroll of Weekend Wrestling 😆
4. No, I am also not being sent these matches 😇

 WW manages to fit right into the niche of wrestling that I'm looking for in an underground match. They also produce matches that have a strong indie feel to them (Wrestler4Hire and 88Wrestling also pull this off well.) That's really the easiest way I can put it.

 Anyways...as I was saying...

Brother vs Brother: PBA vs JBW - Weekend Wrestling
 
This battle of the Weekend Wrestling brothers is happening because Pretty Boy Assassin (PBA) is upset that his brother, Jack B. Worthington (JBW), didn't help him complete a post workout food challenge. After reading this description on the WW website, I thought it could be a very tricky scenario to sell, but Pretty Boy in particular does a good job with it. It's a minimal segment time-wise, but its setting up the premise of the match so it's important. PBA had to eat the cheesecake and Dominos pizza all by himself?! I don't blame Jack for that one, I wouldn't eat a Dominos pizza either.

Lucky for us, they are settling their differences in the ring.

A steady back and forth starts off the match with the brothers grappling for a dominant position, occasionally getting a submission locked in, but it's not long before they slip out of each others holds and continue to jockey for position. Keep in mind, PBA is the one with the score to settle here, so I'm sure we will see this play out more and more as the match goes on.




After a short mind-match break, the holds get longer and the taunting becomes more brotherly. Each time Jack thinks hes about to start maneuvering out of a hold, PBA uses his greater wrestling knowledge to his advantage and further advance his punishment to his brother and he's loving every minute of it. That said, one way or another, JBW gets his own fill on his brother as well

This was a fun match to watch and the more experienced wrestler gets the tap out victory, but is that the real end of this battle? A bit of a surprise ending will answer that question for you!

 Although we don't see it very often in underground wrestling, these two would make a great tag team. I could easily see them taking on Brendan/Cole, although their wrestling styles are a bit different. Regardless, Pretty Boy and Jack have become 2 of my favorites at WW and I hope they stick around!

  Gabe Steel vs Kal Handsome - Weekend Wrestling I wanted to get this up last week but fell a little behind, and it looks like I'm not alone in losing track of time... You'd assume Kal would think twice about showing up late again after the beating he took at the hands of Roger Atlas in his last match at WW for the same reason. Unfortunately for Kal, no lessons were learned as he scrambles down to the ring to meet up with Gabe who is already ready and waiting. Kal is seated at ringside rushing to put his gear on. Personally, I love the red shorts he is always wearing each time he comes to the ring. Although they typically get stripped off (which I'm not complaining about) Kal is one of those guys that can look great in just about any battle attire.
