Nacho contacted the guys at HunksWrestling wanting to challenge their resident cocky bad boy Jonathan Alvarez. It took some persistence on Nacho's part but Jonathan finally accepted the challenge, and boy am I glad he did. You will be too!
I can tell right away this is going to be a great fight. Both guys are excited and ready to tear the other apart. Jonathan and Nacho spend the first few minutes feeling each other out, and then it quickly accelerates into a full on grappling battle complete with hands, elbows, and feet flying. Kudos to the video editors for subtitles as well. While they aren't required to understand the international language of wrestling, being able to read what the guys are saying really helps add to the atmosphere of the match.
This is a hot battle! Nacho specializes in Muay Thai, while Jonathan seems more of an all around grappler. Both with great physiques, they use every ounce of strength and skill to strike and/or wrap up their opponent in an all out effort to get the choke out, submission, or KO victory.
Each almost gets one of those 3 quite a few times, only for it to be reversed or for the combatant in control to switch tactics or holds. Talk about being on the edge of your seat. Jonathan and Nacho bring the fire to the mats and neither one wants to quit! Nacho was all smiles at the start of this contest, but it's not long before it disappears as he realizes he may have been a little overconfident walking into the HW mat room. Jonathan is no joke and wants to teach the new guy a lesson.
You could cut the tension between these two like a hot knife through butter. Is it sexual? The heat and intensity of the battle? While I don't know the orientations of either fighter, I get the sense it's a mix of both. I don't want to spoil anything, but it's worth mentioning because it ties into the above. There's one choke out attempt in particular where Jonathan could have easily put Nacho out, but I think he's just having too much fun watching his opponent suffer and doesn't want it to end. Hot!
With all of that said, this is absolutely a competitive fight and nothing close to a one sided beat-down. Things heat up even more in the final minutes and you'll be left guessing until one of these guys is finally out cold on the mat! This match will easily make it into my top 5 from HunksWrestling, without a doubt.
Most of you that know me or have been reading my blog for a while know that I'm a pro style boy, but Hunks Wrestling never fails to deliver some of the hottest straight up grappling action on the underground scene today. Of all the HW matches I have purchased over the years, I can honestly say I've never been disappointed or let down. This was an awesome debut for Nacho and I can't wait to see him back in action! I have a couple of guys I'd love to see both he and Jonathan go up against. We will see what the team at Hunks Wrestling has in store for us.

Even through some of the spots where they were really going at it, there were still hints of a laugh or smile and you can tell they were having a great time.
DeleteIt would definitely be nice to see them put matches out more frequently. I think with their smaller roster it might be a little tricky for them to put together big shoots like some of the larger companies do.
